| Meet Dr. Carl Wheeler |
A Milton-Freewater Native
Carl Wheeler, DMD is proud to be a Milton-Freewater native and is happy to be back home.
Upon graduating from Mac-Hi, Dr. Wheeler attended Oregon State University, obtaining a Bachelors of Science degree in general science. Following his under- graduate studies at OSU, Dr. Wheeler decided to follow in his father's footsteps and obtained his Dental degree, graduating with honors from Oregon Health Science University in Portland, Oregon.
Continuing a Dental Legacy
After Dental school, Dr. Wheeler took a position with the National Health Service Corp working as a dentist at La Clinica Health Center in Medford, Oregon. He filled this position for four years and was able to gain a wealth of experience and knowledge while there. In2011 Dr. Wheeler left La Clinica and joined Wheeler Family Dental with his father, Dr. Doug Wheeler.
Since completing Dental school, Dr. Wheeler has been an active member of the American Dental Association, Oregon Dental Association, Eastern Oregon Dental Society, and the Walla Walla Dental Society. Additionally, Dr. Wheeler frequently participates in continuing education courses, ensuring that he remains up to date with the most cutting- edge and scientifically-backed techniques in his field.

Dr. Wheeler's hobbies include golf, home renovations, and hanging out with his three boys.
Dr. Wheeler's wife, Tara, is also a native Oregonian and was a kindergarten teacher in Medford before she and the family moved to Milton-Freewater. The Wheelers are enjoying raising their children in Milton-Freewater and being part of the community. |
